In order to optimize cleaning performance, it is important that the tank is filled completely.
NOTE: The only cleaning solutions that can be safely used with your robot mop are the Braava jet® Hard Floor Cleaning Solution and the Bona Hardwood/Hard Surface Cleaner. Please do not use other cleaning solutions. For more information about how to use those solutions with your robot, please check out this article.
iRobot Braava jet 200 series, Braava jet 300 series, Braava jet m6, and Roomba Combo j7+ are compatible with Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner and Bona Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner. You should follow cleaner solution instructions on the bottle for optimal cleaning performance.
You can fill your tank with just water, or a mixture of water and our Braava jet® Hard Floor Cleaning Solution.

You can fill your tank with warm water, but do not fill with boiling water as it can damage the robot.
You do not need to rinse out or empty the tank after a cleaning job. Just fill it back up completely so you're ready for the next cleaning!
We do recommend periodically changing the tank filter for optimal performance.
Braava jet® m Series is designed to hold about 450 ml of water, which should be enough water for most cleaning jobs. If the robot senses its tank is running low, it will automatically return to the dock and you will receive a notification. Once the tank is refilled and the robot has sufficiently recharged its battery, it will resume cleaning.
Note: If using a Dry Sweeping pad, the robot will not spray.
