Please review the following videos or instructions to keep your Braava jet® m Series Robot Mop running at peak performance.
Core Robot
Robot
To clean your Braava jet® m Series robot, simply use a damp cloth to remove any debris. Do not use any 3rd party cleaners or chemicals to clean your robot.
Sensors
For optimal performance you should regularly clean your Braava jet® m Series Robot Mop. This includes the pad detect and cliff sensors located underneath. Ensuring the cliff sensors are clear of any debris will allow your robot mop to navigate as efficiently as possible. You may use a cotton swab, such as a Q-Tip to better clean the cliff sensors and remove any debris. Removing any debris on the pad detect sensor will ensure your Braava jet m Series can recognize an installed pad to begin cleaning.
Nozzle
If you notice that Braava jet® m Series has difficulty spraying liquid onto the floor, it is possible that the spray nozzle is hindered by debris. With a clean dry or damp cloth, wipe away any debris at the nozzle location. Do not use any third party cleaners or chemicals, as this may damage the robot.
Camera Window
As part of its iAdapt® Navigation 3.0 technology, your Braava jet® m Series Robot Mop utilizes a localization camera to assist in understanding its location within the environment. Regularly clean the camera window with a clean lightly dampened melamine foam, such as a Magic Eraser to ensure Braava can navigate properly.
Charging Contacts
Over time debris can build up on the charging contacts of your robot mop. Follow these simple steps to clean the charging contacts
- Place the robot upside down on a flat surface.
- Wipe the charging contacts on your robot mop with lightly dampened melamine foam, such as a Magic Eraser.
