Roomba® Plus 400 Series, How to Clean or Replace the Main Brush

1. Press the multi-surface brush frame release tabs and lift to remove the brush frame.
   
   
   
   
2. Remove the Multi-Surface Brush.
   
   
   
   
3. Remove any hair or debris.
   
   
   
   
4. Remove end cap from the end of the brush.
   
   
   
   WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD - Contains small parts. Keep away from children.
   
   
5. Remove any hair or debris that has collected beneath the cap. Replace end cap.
   
   
   
   
6. Reinstall the Multi-Surface Brush and brush cover in the robot.
   

IMPORTANT: It is recommended to replace the main brush every 6-12 months for an optimal cleaning effect.

1. Press the brush cover release tabs and lift to remove the brush cover.
   
   

2. Remove the multi-surface brush.
   
   

3. Remove any hair or debris from the multi-surface brush using the cleaning brush.
   
   

4. Twist to remove the caps on each side of the brush to clear any hair or debris built up underneath. Be sure to install them back correctly.

5. Reinstall the multi-surface brush and brush frame in the robot.
