Error twenty-nine (29) means that your Roomba® was started while a software update was being performed.
Place your Roomba® on its dock for the software update to process fully. The software update shouldn't take more than a few minutes. You can also monitor the robot's status from the app.
If the Software update status continues indefinitely, please reboot by following these steps:
- From the app, navigate to Product Settings ➔ Reboot Roomba ➔ Reboot Roomba
- From the Robot, press and hold the power button for roughly 10 seconds
You should see a white light and hear a little tune. It may take up to a minute and a half for your robot to reboot. The reboot procedure is complete when the light ring shuts off.
