Error forty-five (45) means that the lid on your Roomba® s Series Robot Vacuum or Braava jet® m Series Robot Mop is open during the start of a cleaning job.
Roomba® s Series Robot Vacuum:
Ensure the lid is properly closed and securely latched on your robot vacuum before cleaning.
If the error persists, open the lid and clean the gold-colored lid contacts on the lid and the robot with a clean, lightly dampened melamine foam, such as a Magic Eraser.
If the error continues after cleaning the contacts, from the robot, and cleaning inside the bin well, ensuring no debris is in the bin well.

Braava jet® m Series Robot Mop:
Ensure the lid is closed and securely latched on your Robot Mop before cleaning.
If the lid is closed and the error persists, ensure that no debris is in the tank well, preventing the lid from closing properly. If found, remove the debris, then reinstall the tank
