Over time, debris can build up on the charging contacts of the Robot and the Dock. Follow these simple steps to clean the charging contacts on your Roomba Essentials 2 about once a month or when dirty.
Note: Use a lightly dampened melamine foam such as a Magic Eraser, or a lightly dampened cloth to clean the contacts. These are the only two acceptable materials that should be used to clear the contacts. Do not use any abrasive material to clean the contacts.
How to Clean the Charging Contacts of the Roomba Essentials 2:
Unplug the Dock and wait 60 seconds.
Remove the robot from the Dock.
Grab a lightly dampened melamine foam such as a Magic Eraser, or a lightly dampened cloth.
