Over time, debris can build up on the charging contacts of the Robot and the Dock. Follow these simple steps to clean the charging contacts about once a month or when dirty.
Note: Use a lightly dampened melamine foam such as a Magic Eraser, or a lightly dampened cloth to clean the contacts. These are the only two acceptable materials that should be used to clear the contacts. Do not use any abrasive material to clean the contacts.

Remove the robot from the charging station and place the robot upside down on a flat surface
Grab a lightly dampened melamine foam such as a Magic Eraser, or a lightly dampened cloth
Clean the charging contacts on your robot. They should have a visible shine.

Note: Damaged contacts could also prevent your robot from charging. If the contacts are green or copper colored, they are damaged and the robot or base with the damaged contacts needs to be replaced. Please contact iRobot Customer Care.

Wipe the docking sensor window on the Home Base® with a clean, dry microfiber or soft cotton cloth. Do not use a magic eraser here.

M6 Drip Tray:
It is best for the customer to regularly clean off the drip tray when using the Braava jet® m Series robot. Debris and water residue can affect the performance of the robot.
The drip tray can be cleaned with a wet cloth or rinsed in the sink
Dry the drip tray thoroughly with a soft cloth before reattaching it
The drip tray is NOT dishwasher safe!
