Error 37 means that the robot’s tank is low and needs to be refilled. When this happens:
Robot Reboot:
- Press and hold the CLEAN button on the robot for 20 seconds and then release
- When the button is released, the light ring around the CLEAN button will begin to swirl
- NOTE: This will last for over one minute and means the robot is booting up. You will need to wait until the robot is fully booted up before pressing CLEAN to start a new cleaning job.
If you're still receiving an error message:
The tank is designed to hold up to 210 ml (Combo j7+) and 170 ml (Combo j9+ or 10 max) of liquid. If you are receiving an error message that Roomba® Combo j7+/j9+ tank is low, even when the tank is completely filled with water or approved cleaning solution (link to list here), it's possible that the float sensor in the water tank is stuck. Shake the tank vigorously to dislodge the float sensor, and then reinstall the full tank into the robot.
- Push Notification: "<Robot Name> requires your attention. Fill the tank, so the cleaning job can continue."
- In-App Message: "Fill <Robot Name>’s tank to enable vacuum and mop mode."
- If the error is not cleared before the start of the cleaning job, the robot will run a vacuum-only job
If the issue persists after shaking the tank, add warm water, NOT hot, to the tank, and shake again. This should help free the float sensor. If the issue persists, please contact iRobot Customer Care.
If the message persists after rebooting the robot, contact iRobot Customer Care.
