Error nine (9) means your robot's bumper is stuck and is not moving freely. Gently tap both sides of the bumper several times to shake out any debris that may be trapped underneath. Then try running the robot again.

Check to see if one or both sides of the robot's front bumper are sticking out. If so, follow the steps below to fix this.
- Re-install the top of the bumper first. Lift the top edge of the dislodged bumper over the tab and post

- After re-installing the top of the bumper, align the bottom of the bumper as well.

- Support the robot on its side and snap in the bottom of the bumper by striking the bumper with the heel of your hand.
- Re-installing the bumper should resolve the error 9. Please try running your robot again.
Note: Do not spray cleaning solution or water onto the sensors or sensor openings.
