Error sixteen (16) typically means someone lifted the robot off the floor. The robot knows it was lifted off the ground when both wheels are in the air, at which time it will throw the error 16.
Please try to avoid lifting and relocating the robot while it is running a mission, unless it has an error and needs rescuing. If you frequently lift the robot, you may encounter multiple error 16s. This would be expected behavior and would not be indicative of a greater problem.
Error sixteen (16) can also mean that Roomba failed to navigate properly. If you did not lift or move the robot, please see if Roomba® might be stuck on something. If stuck, rescue the robot and try running it again. Is it always getting stuck in the same place? If so, we recommend blocking off that area with a keep out zone.
