Error 1030, Stuck in No Mop Zone, Roomba® Max 700 Combo Series

« Go Back
Article Details

The Roomba® Max 700 Combo series robot will detect and mop certain floor types, including sealed Hardwood, Linoleum, Tile, and Vinyl.

If your Roomba® is mopping where you don’t want it to, navigate to your map within the Roomba® Home app and set a No Mop Zone. These will show up in purple and can be helpful for chair mats, thin carpets, or special floor types.

Error 1030 means that Roomba® somehow found itself stuck in a no-mop zone. Please lift your robot and place it in a new area so it may continue cleaning.

If the error persists after relocating the robot, please cancel the mission and reboot the robot to clear the error. Reboot the robot by removing it from the dock and holding down the power button on the robot for 10 seconds. Hold the button again for 3 seconds to turn it back on.

Try running Roomba® again.

If the error 1030 still persists after rebooting the robot, it's possible the map could be the issue. At this time, please delete your existing map from the Roomba® Home app and create a new map.

Try running Roomba® again.

If the error 1030 still persists after rebooting and remapping, please contact iRobot Customer Care.
